The Squid Game Boss, also known as Oh Il-nam, is a central character in the Netflix TV show Squid Game. He is portrayed by actor Oh Yeong-su.

Oh Il-nam first appears in the series' premiere episode, where he is introduced as Player 001, an elderly man participating in the deadly games for the prize money.

Later in the series, a twist reveals that Oh Il-nam is not merely a player, but the mastermind behind the Squid Game itself. He created the games as a means to alleviate his boredom and witness the raw human nature of individuals pushed to their limits.
